# My First Trade Executed from Chat

Step-by-step guide to executing your very first stock trade using AI chat. No experience needed!

## 📋 What You Need Before Starting

### 1. Ape AI Account

* Downloaded the app (iOS) or signed up (Web)
* Completed onboarding

**Path A: Paper Trading (Recommended for First Time)**

* **Pros:** No real money risk, learn safely
* **Cons:** Not real profits (but also not real losses!)
* **Best for:** Complete beginners who want to practice

* **Pros:** Real profits, real learning
* **Cons:** Real losses possible

* **Recommended:** Start with \$100-200 max

## 🚀 Step-by-Step: Your First Trade

### Step 1: Enable Trading from Chat (5 minutes)

**📱 iOS:**

1. Open Ape AI app
2. Tap **Profile** icon (top left)
3. Tap **Settings**
4. Find **"Trading Permissions"**
5. Toggle **ON**
6. Confirm with Face ID/Touch ID
7. You'll see: "Trading from chat enabled ✓"

**🌐 Web:**

1. Open app.askape.com
2. Click **Profile** icon (top right)
3. Click **Settings**
4. Go to **"Integrations"** tab
5. Enable **"Execute Trades from Chat"**
6. Confirm
7. You'll see: "Trading enabled ✓"

**Why this step?** Safety! We want you to explicitly allow trading so you never place accidental orders.

### Step 2: Ask AI for a Beginner Trade Idea (10 minutes)

**Open Chat and ask:**

> "I'm a complete beginner. Suggest a simple first trade for me with \$200."

**AI Response Example:**

> "Great choice to start small! Here's a beginner-friendly first trade:

**Important:** AI chooses simple, stable stocks for beginners - usually large companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon.

### Step 3: Understand What You're Buying (5 minutes)

**Before buying, ask AI to explain:**

**AI Explanation:**

**Take your time here.** Don't rush into a trade you don't understand.

### Step 4: Execute Your First Trade! (5 minutes)

**This is it! The exciting part.**

**You'll see an "Execute Trade" button below AI's trade recommendation.**

#### **📱 iOS - Place Your First Order:**

1. **Tap "Execute Trade"** button
2. **Order Preview Screen Appears:**

   ```

   Action: Buy
   Quantity: 1 share

   Type: Market Order

   Estimated Cost: $268.00
   Your Buying Power: $10,000 (paper) or $X (real)

3. **Review Everything:**
   * ✅ Stock: AAPL (correct)
   * ✅ Quantity: 1 share (start small!)
   * ✅ Price: \$268 (reasonable)
   * ✅ You can afford it
4. **Tap "Place Order"**
5. **Authenticate:**
   * Face ID or Touch ID prompt
   * This confirms "Yes, I want to buy this"
6. **Order Placed!** 🎉

1. Click "Execute Trade"
2. Review order details
3. Click "Confirm & Place Order"
4. Authenticate with password/2FA

**Feeling:** You might feel nervous or excited. That's normal! You just became a stock owner.

### Step 5: Set a Price Alert (5 minutes)

**AI will guide you:**

> "Now let's set a price alert for \$280 (your target). This way you'll know when Apple reaches your sell price."

**📱 iOS:**

1. Go to **Portfolio** tab (bottom navigation)
2. You'll see: **AAPL - 1 share**
3. Tap on it
4. Scroll down to **"Set Price Alert"**
5. Enter **\$280**
6. Tap **"Set Alert"**
7. Done! ✅

**🌐 Web:**

1. Click **Portfolio** (left sidebar)
2. Find **AAPL** position
3. Click **"Manage"** → **"Set Alert"**
4. Enter **\$280**
5. Save

**What happens now?**

* When AAPL reaches \$280, you get notification
* Then you can decide to sell for profit
* No stress, no constant checking!

### Step 6: Track Your First Trade (Daily Check-In)

**Every day, check your position:**

**Ask AI:**

**Day 1 - AI Response:**
